Step 1: introduction
- There are TWO connectors on Beetle which are HDMI and USB Type-A.
- There is 2.4GHz WiFi.
- There are 2 LEDs, and they are red and green respectively.
- When Beetle is connected to computer via USB, red LED lights.
- When WiFi is connected, green LED blinks.
- If you live in China, please visit www.usb7.cn and login with Wechat account before proceed.
- If you live outside China, please visit www.usb7.net and login with your Google account before proceed. If you do not have Google account, please create one.
- Connect Beetle to Windows, macOS or Linux computer.
- After 25 seconds, Beetle finishes booting and red LED lights. In computer browser input Beetle IP address 172.16.10.1 to access Beetle.
- Follow instructions in the browser and connect Beetle to WiFi. After 10 seconds, can see Beetle WiFi IP address and green LED blinks (this indicates WiFi is connected).
- Click "Go to register" button to register Beetle with www.usb7.cn account (in China) or www.usb7.net account (outside China).
- Connect Beetle to Windows, macOS or Linux computer you want to remotely access.
Step 3: access Beetle
- If you live in China, please visit www.usb7.cn and login.
- If you live outside China, please visit www.usb7.net and login.
- Click "My devices".
- If remote computer is in sleep, click "Wake up".
- Click "Access" and follow instructions on the screen to access remote Windows, macOS or Linux computer.
